With the current COVID-19 outbreak an increasing number of our clients are self-isolating or following the Government guidelines and restricting their public contact.
Here at Backhouse Solicitors we have put measures in place so that we can continue to provide you with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration services in this difficult time. With the current uncertainty we are also able to turn around Will instructions in 24 hours which could make the difference between being able to make a Will or not.
How it will work
In the circumstances, we are limiting client physical interaction. We have therefore put provisions in place to enable us to take your instructions for Wills either over the telephone, via email, via Skype or other video conferencing facilities you may have at home. We can then email draft documents to you for approval, and once approved either email you final documents for printing out at home together with guidance on how documents should be signed or alternatively we can forward hard copies of final documents to you in the post. If you are comfortable with attending the office or need a home visit we are still able to offer these services at this time although with the quick changing pace of the advice from the Government this may not be an option going forward.
