A big thank you to everyone who attended a fantastic Friends of Braintree meeting on 2 October. We had 60 guests join us for 2 hours of friendly and effective networking over a cup of coffee and a tasty buffet. Contacts were made, business was done and new members signed up to join the Friends and support the football club.
We are really looking forward to our next meeting which is an afternoon event on Thursday 6th November. The group goes from strength to strength as we welcome new guests from a range of business sectors in Braintree and the surrounding areas. We would love to help you promote your business and win new clients, and best of all, attending won’t cost you a penny!
As an added bonus, the football club will be opening the bar during November’s meeting, and guests are welcome to stay after the meeting for a drink and some less formal networking!
About the Friends of Braintree Networking
We get together once a month at Braintree Town FC (The Amlin Stadium, Clockhouse Way, Braintree, Essex, CM7 3RD). The next meeting is Thursday 6th November from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The meetings are free to attend – if you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list with contact details, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We expect a lot of bookings, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.
