What a great event – thank you very much to everyone who attended Friends of City on 26 March. 100 people joined us to network and meet new business contacts over a hot bacon roll and the feedback from the attendees has been extremely positive.
We are really looking forward to the next meeting as250 people have already booked in for the Friends of City Business Expo on Friday 26 April. This is a chance for both long standing and new members to showcase their businesses and meet new customers and suppliers, and we have 31 stands booked across two floors, inside and outside.
We are expecting even more bookings, so don’t miss out on what will be one of Chelmsford’s biggest networking events of 2013 – book your place today!
So what do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Chelmsford City FC (Melbourne Park, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 2EH), alternating between breakfast and lunchtime meetings. The next event is the Business Expo on Friday 26 April from 12pm-3pm.
The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We have already taken lots of bookings, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.
