East London is where I grew up and from 2003, I worked as a legal secretary for a legal 500 firm in their conveyancing department on commercial, new build and residential matters for 8 years as well as attending night school for 2 years doing the LPC.
By 2012 I had moved to Essex and travelled to East London to complete my training contract. I studied at London Metropolitan University in Aldgate East and qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 with a BA Hons (Legal Studies).
Specialising in property law, I have over 20 years of experience in conveyancing working on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. I also have experience with new build transactions, as well as remortgage and equity release matters.
When an opportunity came up to join the Conveyancing team at Backhouse, I was delighted because I knew the firm offered high levels of service and has an excellent reputation.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and eating out, and trying various restaurants with my family. To keep fit I enjoy a bit of running and to relax I love to watch horror and action movies!
