Originally from Essex, I moved to London to read law at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where I graduated in 2019 with a First-Class Honours Degree (LLB). Following this, I then completed my Legal Practice Course with Masters at the University of Law (LLM) with Distinction.
After completing my studies, I worked as a paralegal at a legal 500 law firm in Essex, where I subsequently undertook my training contract; qualifying as a Solicitor in 2022. Throughout my training, I gained experience in several areas of law including Family Law, Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution, as well as Commercial Law before qualifying into this area. Although I enjoyed expanding my knowledge in other areas, I soon realised that Business Law was my preferred path.
Following qualifying as a Solicitor, I started a new role within the industry of international trade and development. Utilising my Commercial Law background, I worked exclusively with funded development projects around the world through organisations such as the World Bank and UN.
I joined Backhouse this summer, as a solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial Team. I am grateful for the opportunities to work with a wide variety of business clientele in differing industries and sectors. The fantastic reputation that Backhouse Solicitors has achieved over the years is growing the firm fast and I am thrilled to be part of the Corporate and Commercial team. I am looking forward to working with clients old and new and helping them with their legal issues.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends trying new restaurants, seeing theatre shows and watching Formula 1. I am also on the board of a Charitable Trust dedicated to relieving the needs of elderly persons in the community through the provision of low-cost home ownership and associated services to address their needs.
