On Thursday 21st July, all our staff got together to spend an afternoon of bonding, socializing, and team building as a firm. There has been little opportunity to get together as a company, so to be able to do this in the summer for the first time in some time, was utterly amazing.
The afternoon consisted of breakout groups heading down to Chelmsford Escape Rooms, with each team taking on the challenge to try and escape. Although not all our teams unravelled the cryptic clues and escaped, we felt generous and in good spirit, so did allow them out once their time was up! We crowned the “I’m a Lawyer Get Me Out of Here” team as our winners of the games, completing their escape room and escaping with time to spare. Well done team!
We then all headed down to The Two Brewers in Chelmsford for a refreshing Pimm’s or two and a delicious BBQ. It is fair to say, everyone enjoyed relaxing and spending the afternoon enjoying the sun, catching up and laughing with colleagues across the business well into the evening.
Thank you to Chelmsford Escape Rooms and The Two Brewers for accommodating our team building afternoon, the staff from both organisations were extremely helpful, professional and great hosts, with everyone from Backhouse being well looked after.
Thank you also to our Marketing Team for arranging the afternoon and working tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Lastly, thank you to our brilliant Leadership Team for their support during the set-up and execution of the day, ensuring everyone got involved and enjoyed the day.
It is safe to say that everyone from Team Backhouse thoroughly enjoyed the day, and we cannot wait for the next one!
