Backhouse Solicitors were delighted to be a part of Farleigh Hospice’s fundraising Quiz Night on Friday 25th March 2022.
Three Backhouse teams enjoyed a great evening out, answering questions over 8 rounds, on a wide range of subjects and catching up on some of the social time we really missed during lockdown.
Here is how we got on:
- Team 1 “Where there’s a Will there’s a Way”. Our Private client department were pipped to the post after a strong finish, coming second overall by just 1 point!
- Team 2 “Pirate Queens, and Golden Nuggets” finished in the top half of the table and enjoyed a fine selection of cocktails on the way.
- Team 3 “That’s Not My Name” put in a valiant performance to achieve a strong last place but won a large bag of chocolates for their efforts and were commended on their enthusiasm in supporting Farleigh!
While the quiz night was a great success and a fun evening out, it is also important to remember the reason these events happen. As a registered charity, Farleigh Hospice has provided care to those affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid-Essex for 40 years. Farleigh are the Backhouse Solicitors Charity of the Year 2022 and we look forward to supporting them with many of the events they are hosting throughout the year as part of their 40th Birthday celebrations.
