A big thank you to everyone who attended a fantastic Friends of Braintree Town meeting on 7 August. We had over 60 guests join us for 2 hours of quality networking over a cup of coffee and some hot bacon rolls. Contacts were made, business was done and new members signed up to join the Friends and support the football club.
We’d like to say a big thank you to Nicola Beach, Chief Exec of Braintree District Council who joined us and managed to speak to pretty much everyone there. We hope to have Nicola back to join us again soon.
We are really looking forward to our next meeting which is an evening event on Thursday 4th September. The group continues to grow strongly as we welcome new guests from a range of business sectors in Braintree and the surrounding areas. We would love to help you promote your business and win new clients, and best of all, attending won’t cost you a penny!
What do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Braintree Town FC (The Amlin Stadium, Clockhouse Way, Braintree, Essex, CM7 3RD). The next meeting is Thursday 4th September from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The meetings are free to attend – if you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list with contact details, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We expect a lot of bookings, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.
