Happy New Year and a big thank you to all who attended December’s Friends of Braintree Town meeting. We had 65 guests join us for an excellent 2 hours of networking over a hot coffee and a bacon roll.
We are really looking forward to our first meeting of 2014 which is an evening event on Thursday 9 January. 2013 was a great year for the group as we went from a standing start to one of the most popular meetings in the area in just 6 months. We will be growing the group strongly in 2014 and look forward to helping you promote your businesses and win new clients. Best of all, attending won’t cost you a penny!
What do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Braintree Town FC (The Amlin Stadium, Clockhouse Way, Braintree, Essex, CM7 3RD). The next meeting is Thursday 9 January from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list with contact details, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We expect a lot of bookings, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.

To keep things fair, we only allow up to 5 businesses from any trade or profession to attend, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Aaron will add contact details of everyone who books in to the attendance list which is available to you if you become a member.
