Another great networking event! Thank you very much to everyone who attended the Friends of City breakfast on 23 May – we had nearly 100 people join us to build new relationships and catch up with old friends over a hot bacon roll. The feedback from the guests has been overwhelmingly positive – thank you all for your comments.
The next meeting is now less than 2 weeks away on Tuesday 25 June. Word is spreading far and wide about the great mix of businesses attending the meetings and new visitors are joining us each month from all around Essex, London and the South East. If you haven’t made it along to a meeting yet then now is your chance to try us out!
What do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Chelmsford City FC (Melbourne Park, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 2EH), alternating between breakfast and lunchtime meetings. The next event is a lunch on Tuesday 25 June from 12.00pm – 2pm. The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. The meetings are very popular, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.

To keep things fair, we only allow up to 5 businesses from any trade or profession to attend, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Aaron will add contact details of everyone who books in to the attendance list which is available to you if you become a member.
