What a great event – thank you very much to everyone who attended Friends of City on 25 October.
90 people joined us to network and meet new business contacts over a hot bacon roll.
After 5 really popular meetings word is spreading far and wide – 80 people have already booked in for the Friends of City Business Expo on 29 November. Don’t miss out – book your place today!
So what do you need to know?
We get together once a month at Chelmsford City FC (Melbourne Park, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 2EH), alternating between breakfast and lunchtime meetings. The next event is the Business Expo on Thursday 29 November from 12pm-3pm. The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We have already taken lots of bookings, so we can guarantee you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment.

We will be taking a well-earned Christmas break in December, so the meeting after next will be a breakfast on onWednesday 16 January from 7am-9am.
