Back in 2009, Backhouse Solicitors joined Friends of City – a great value, friendly networking group supporting Chelmsford City FC. Here we are in 2012 and Aaron Desmond who founded the group has joined our team as Business Development Manager. Aaron has kept in touch with the club and we are very pleased to announce that Backhouse Solicitors are now working in partnership with Chelmsford City FC to support and promote the Friends of City.
So what do you need to know?
We get together once a month at the football club, alternating between breakfast and lunchtime meetings. The next event is a breakfast on Thursday 28 June from 7am-9am. The meetings are free to attend – if you like us and you’d like to join up and support the club there is a great membership package which includes advertising space and a copy of the attendance list, but that’s up to you. There’s plenty of free parking and food, tea and coffee is provided free of charge. How’s that for great value?
The meetings are very informal – there are no bells or whistles and you don’t need to give a 60 second speech. We already have nearly 40 attendees signed up for next week and you will meet a real mix of businesses – large and small. This is a great opportunity to make new contacts and catch up with old friends in a relaxed environment. Minal Backhouse, our MD will give you all a very brief introduction to what we do, so you’ll have 5 minutes’ break to eat your bacon roll!
